The Cape Town branch of Baker McVeigh was established in 2002 with the intention of being a sister practice to the already successful Summerveld Equine Hospital.
In 2006 John McVeigh handed the reins over to Dr. Antony Clements. The old Cape Vet Hospital was purchased and refurbished, re-emerging as a complete equine surgical facility and taking on the name of Baker McVeigh Equine Hospital, Cape Town.
