Cafe Jack is pet-friendly! They welcome dogs on leashes on their sea facing balcony, situated in the picturesque village of Betty’s Bay, 60 minutes from Cape Town. Serving truly homemade continental-style dishes from an all-day breakfast, delicious main meals and afternoon tea. Enjoy the best coffee in the Overberg and 360-degree sea and mountain views.
Opened in December 2008 and about to celebrate the first 600 days of operation, Cafe Jack is the creation of David Newark and Laura Brown, both British who have made South Africa their home for the last 11 years.
With spectacular views of the mountains and the sea, Café Jack specializes in quality food all made on the premises. David not only makes his own pasta but also his own sausages and pies so you can be assured of fine home cooked fare.
With a fully stocked bar and state of the art espresso machine customers are invited to relax on the terrace or on our comfy chairs and sofas and enjoy the magnificent scenery through the floor to ceiling windows. A wood burning fire in winter adds to the ambiance and comfort of diners.
The cafe offers an all-day breakfast as well as deluxe sandwiches, main meals, and mouthwatering puds. Over Christmas, New Year and Easter the Café opens daily from 07h00 to 22h00.
