Durbanville Animal Hospital was founded in 1986 by Dr. Ivan Mendelsohn with Michael Mpushe as his assistant. What started off as a small personal practice in Valmary Park steadily grew into a 2 hospital, 5 veterinarian practice.
Dr. Mendelsohn retired in 2016, after 30 years of dedication to the practice. Nowadays, our Durbanville hospital has 3 veterinarians, 2 nurses, 2 receptionists, and 2 kennel assistants.
Our team of veterinarians, nurses and support staff offers high levels of patient care in laboratory diagnostics, ultrasound, medicine, and surgery.
