The Goedemoed Animal Hospital initially opened in a converted garage about 30m from the present site in 1998 as a branch of the Durbanville Animal Hospital before erecting a purpose built facility adjacent to the 7-11 Centre. What started as a small single vet practice with Dr. Garth Mills returning from a period in Ireland, has grown into a busy, fully equipped hospital with a complement of 2 full time vets, a veterinary nurse, 2 receptionists and a kennel manager. Dr. Steve Maberly joined the practice in 2003 to complete the team, which helps us to continue to offer a high level of diagnostic, medical and surgical care in a compassionate, happy and caring environment. We are the “VetswhoCare”.
