Enjoy delicious wood-fired pizzas overlooking the forest canopies and mountainside and the sea view that stretches all the way to Kommetjie. With a cozy fireplace, it’s also a great winter spot and the perfect place to take your family (furries included!).
The owners, Paul and his wife Helen, took the helm at The Red Herring Restaurant and Skebanga’s Sunset Bar on 1st December 2009. They are assisted by their very capable front of house team; Vince, Leslie, and Maxine, who will look after your needs and ensure your visit to The Red Herring Restaurant are enjoyable and relaxing. While back in the kitchen Karen and Carol ensure the thinks always run smoothly.
Although famous for their homemade thin based pizzas which are crafted by hand individually to order and cooked in their wood-fired oven they also have an extensive menu offering a wide selection ranging from seafood to steaks and lots in between.
Popular with locals and visitors alike, dining on deck offers lighter meals with beautiful forest canopies below and mountainside surrounds and a view that stretches from Chapman’s Peak, acrossNoordhoek beach to Kommetjie.
