Broadening its service footprint, Tygerberg Animal Hospital offers the services of specialist veterinarian physician, Dr Frank Kettner, at 1 Kontiki Avenue Bellville. Providing accurate diagnosis of medical conditions with the appropriate treatment, the centre focuses on, amongst others, diseases of the heart, abdomen, glandular systems, chest, skin, brain and nervous system, as well as cancer treatment.

Specialist services comprise critical care, blood pressure evaluation, blood gas analysis, ultrasonography, echocardiography, ECG analysis, neuromuscular diagnostics such as deafness testing, bronchoscopy and bronchoalveolar lavage, gastro-intestinal endoscopy and biopsy, joint aspirate, CSF collection, cystoscopy and rhinoscopy.

With all medical conditions, the Specialist Medicine Clinic goes all-out to find answers, treatment and hopefully cure. But importantly, optimising full recovery or improving any patient’s quality of life for as long as possible is integral to our service.
