Wagon Wheel Country Lodge – Pet friendly! So feel free to bring your fury ones.

Wagon Wheel Country Lodge is situated in the charming Great Karoo town of Beaufort West and the facilities at the Lodge include a Ladies Bar, an à la carte restaurant, conference facilities, secure parking and a caravan park.

The popular Lodge offers 41 rooms; Deluxe or Standard. Each Deluxe Room comprises twin beds, a large sleeper couch, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, a TV with five selected DStv channels, air-conditioning, a kettle, cups and a telephone. We supply all linen and double beds are available on request.

Each Standard Room comprises two to four single beds, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, a toilet and a basin, air-conditioning, a ceiling fan and a wall heater.

Our beautiful Caravan Park offers sites with electrical points and bathrooms with baths and showers. We also have a kitchen with electrical points and warm water. Camping facilities are also available and we are disabled friendly.

We have a sparkling pool to cool off in, while children entertain themselves in the small game camp. If you prefer outdoor adventure, a multitude of leisure activities await you. Our friendly staff will provide comprehensive information on local attractions including the Chris Barnard Heart Museum and Town Hall.

Surrounded by spectacular scenery of mountain and desert views, the Wagon Wheel Country Lodge offers you warm hospitality and great comfort in a unique setting.

Pet Policy:

All well-behaved dogs and cats welcome all year round. Pets sleep inside – bring own pet beds, bowls and bedding. Dogs are not permitted on the furniture and must be free of ticks and fleas on arrival. Enclosed garden.. Easy access to walks – dogs must be under control and leashed at all times when outside. Consideration must be given to other guests and resident animals as well as wildlife. Pets stay FREE. Doggie Damages Deposit required: R100 refundable.
