Welcome to Hakuna Matata: The clinic without worries

We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and client communication. Pets are treated as our own, with ample cuddles, kisses and treats.

Hakuna Matata Veterinary Clinic was a finalist at the Cape Talk Radio 2013 Small Business Awards.

We serve the following areas in Cape Town: West Beach, Bloubergstrand, Table View, Melkbos, Milnerton and Sunset Beach.

About Us

Based in Westbeach, Bloubergstrand, Hakuna Matata Veterinary Clinic was opened in June 2013. After travelling and working in Australia, the UK and Namibia Dr Kiki van Loggerenberg decided to settle in Cape Town and open her own veterinary practice. Dr Kiki van Loggerenberg qualified as a veterinarian in June 2000, from the University of Pretoria. Alongside her she has a qualified veterinary nurse, Christel Myburgh, who monitors the anaesthetics and makes sure the patients are warm and comfortable when they wake up from surgery.

Hakuna Matata prides itself on offering quality, honest veterinarian services. We understand that a visit to the vet is not always the easiest or most enjoyable experience that’s why your pet is always our first priority and we go out of our way to make them feel comfortable and at home.

Facilities

At Hakuna Matata we offer the full range of Veterinary Services which includes; a fully equipped operating theatre for routine and non-routine surgeries, Digital X-ray, ultrasound, in house blood analysis and dental equipment (to get those teeth sparkling again). We also offer separate, very cosy dog and cat wards to reduce any possible stress between our canine and feline patients. To keep our canine patients content, we have an outside lawn area where they can catch some rays to help with recovery. For our pet owners we have freshly brewed coffee and ample off-street parking.
